THE TWITTER BIOGRAPHY
Briefly describe yourself and what your profession is like. It acts like a business card on twitter and remember to indicate your website if you have any so that one may click on the link to find more. The biography will help to market your business, personality and even brand not only on Twitter but the entire internet.

FOLLOWERS
These are people that believe that you are the right person to be followed from what they see as tweet or status update and from the biography itself. Try to follow them back and give them a token of thanks with a link to your company or business website. Engage with them on Twitter so that you can lay strategies for your Twitter business.

THE ONE YOU ARE FOLLOWING
These are people, businesses, companies and brands that you do follow in order to get updates (tweets) from them. It’s a good Twitter habit to follow brands, companies, people, business that help, uphold and follow in the same category as yours. Try to follow as many as you can but pick out a few so that you can carry out real time Twitter engagement and activity with them. It will help to build, market and set credibility and reputation for business, company and personality on Twitter.

Search for twitter accounts, topics and # (hash) tags in your niche industry. You can save your search if you want and use for it for future reference for your business, company and brand.
NB: Tweets in form of updates will multiply from your searched results.

THE TWITTER TIMELINE
It shows updates that come from your followers and the people that you are following. This may be in form of tweets, mentions and RTS. Remember that these may carry links to final destination of a business or company or an article site. This helps you to get informed through videos, news products, and articles among others that will help sustain your business, brand and company.

 THE TWITTER LISTS
Twitter has a feature that helps one to categorize and organiser his or her followers and those he or she follows (following) into lists. You can create a list of family members and friends, directors and competitors. In future you will not have to search for these guys but use the lists created.

This may be as a result of a reply (comment) from your tweet or someone is writing on your Twitter wall. By clicking on the mentions you are able to monitor and evaluate your personality, business, and company as you get to be recognised hence growing reputation on Twitter.

NB: Do not space if more than one word. It can be used to bring more emphasis on a topic and you can use it when searching for a topic in Twitter.

Website and Blog site SEO Dos and Don’ts (Tips) for Search Engines

A website and a blog site to be visible in search engines and search engines’ rankings, they must follow the SEO (search engine optimization) dos and don’ts some times called tips.
In this post, I will show you what is basically needed and not needed of you for your website and blog site to rank highly and be visible in search engines.

Dos (what is needed of you by the Search Engines)
  •    Brain storm on all the key words that your niche industry or area of research interest can ever have 
  •    Always do the right key word research. This key word research must always be in the area of research interest and your niche too. 
  •     Related to the above always use the right key word research tools for your keyword campaign or survey like google analytics tool, keyword discovery, word tracker these will help you in monitoring your competition in your niche and also choosing less competitive keywords with high monthly global searches. But also remember that words with fewer searches may have high conversion rates.
  •    Wisely incorporate the keywords you have found in your website or blog site content so that search engines can easily find your post, page website or post when these words are used or typed in the search engine user query. 
  •     Always give different pages, posts or articles of your website or blog site different titles to help the search engines know the different titles of your pages or posts. 
  •    Always submit your site to search engine and web directories and also blog site directories so that your blog posts and pages can be index quickly by search engines. 
  •    Remember to carry out a link building campaign by submitting your website or blog site to web and search engine directories, also submitting articles about your business to article directories and press releases and you can also do reciprocal link building. 
  •    Always use analytics’ tools like google analytics to find out how you are doing in the search engine rankings, most view pages, most pages with high conversion rate among others.

Don’ts (what is not needed of you by the Search Engines)
  •   Do not use the same key words through out your website or blog site. This is because your site will be seen as spam by search engines. 
  •   Do not use the same title tags through out your website or blog site. This will affect your traffic and search engine rankings as in it will reduce. (See how to optimize blogger title tags)
  •   Avoid or do not use generic keywords like internet marketing but put more focus on targeted key words and the above (internet marketing) would make more sense if it was like this: internet marketing e-course for newbies.
  • Do not link build /put links on sites that do not much with your company’s website and blog site niche or area of research interest.
